How much does the course cost?
All current course fees can be found in the Shop.

Do I need experience of Tai Chi?
No, previous experience is not required for the course.

What should I wear?
It is recommended that you wear loose comfortable clothing and low-heeled shoes.

Can other people attend the course?
The course is advertised principally for Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Clinical Psychologists, Assistants, Support Workers, Technical Instructors, Exercise Instructors and Students. Complementary Therapists, Tai Chi and Qigong instructors working in the health field are also very welcome to attend.

What information will I receive when I book?
When you book online you will automatically receive confirmation of your place by email, plus details of the course including a web link to access the Members’ area of the website.

How will I access the course?
A week before the course is due to start you will be sent an email about the course and a Zoom link to the first lesson. If you do not currently have Zoom on your computer you can download the app here

Is there any pre-course work to do?
Yes, there is a short introductory video to watch in the Members’ area and an accompanying quiz to be completed before each lesson. We will go over the answers at the start of each lesson.

Will I be able to use the exercises immediately?
After the course you should be capable and confident enough to use relevant exercises with individuals or small groups of clients.

Will I receive a certificate after the course?
Yes, you will be emailed a certificate of attendance on completion of the course, provided you attend three of the four lessons.

What happens if I am unable to make a lesson?
Please email me, if possible, to let me know you are unable to attend a lesson. You can catch up by logging into the Members’ area and watching the class recording.

Will the course give me a Tai Chi Instructor Qualification?
No, the course is meant as a thorough-going introduction to the art of Tai chi and a great foundation for future training.

Will I be insured to teach Adapted Tai Chi Exercises?
Adapted Tai Chi Exercises is an exercise-based activity like Pilates and yoga that physiotherapists and other health professionals can use in their practice. Further detailed advice on insurance can be obtained from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or your professional association.

How long will the class recordings be available?
You will have life-time access to the class recordings.
