Testimonials

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Just to let you know that we have been having some really good results with the tai chi exercises from the day we had. People seem to be really enjoying it.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME

Thank you very much for a very enjoyable training day. I feel I learned some new skills and confident about using them.

PRIVATE PHYSIOTHERAPIST

I am finding the whole Tai Chi approach useful and as you say, surprisingly easily accepted.

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR, FALLS PREVENTION

Just thought I’d let you know how much I enjoyed the adapted Tai Chi course at the weekend. I’ve already been putting into practice some of what I learnt with the ward patients this morning and feel its really adding a new dimension to their exercise programmes. I’m also running a Dynamic Falls Prevention class this afternoon and am planning to do some of the exercises.

BAND 5 PHYISOTHERAPIST, ELDERLY MENTAL ILL

To date my adapted tai chi classes are having such a positive effect on all participants it is wonderful to see.

PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT, COPD REHABILITATION AND FALLS PREVENTION

I really enjoyed the day and look forward to part two.

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST, PALLIATIVE CARE

Thank you so much for a really worthwhile day last weekend. It was so good to have some practical stuff we can teach to patients without all the mumbo jumbo that seems to go with some T’ai Chi! And … I’m incorporating Tai Chi into my Parkinson’s group too.

PRIVATE PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Many thanks for your splendid course on Saturday, I really feel I’ve got the bug and have already started looking around for a class I can join. I also felt able to start incorporating your ideas into my own regular back class straight away which was great.

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST, PULMONARY REHABILITATION

I have been using the exercises we learnt in both pulmonary rehab and falls prevention classes very successfully. Both groups are really benefiting. They seem to help the Pr group with both breathing and relaxation in particular. The falls group are also finding the exercises relaxing and help with balance. Also both groups really enjoy doing Tai Chi which is great.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST PALLIATIVE CARE

Thank you for all the info. I really enjoyed the course on Sat and it was great to meet you and I really appreciated your open-minded, holistic, knowledgeable and down to earth approach. It prompted me to rethink some of the balance/mobility exercises I practice and I have already used the standing balance and internal visualization of this with one patient.

REHAB ASSITANTS/TECHNICAL INSTRUCTORS, COMMUNITY STROKE TEAM

Many thanks Ros. We enjoyed Saturday very inspirational we will share it with our team!

PHYSIOTHERAPIST ELDERLY CARE

Just wanted to say thank you for a most enjoyable course. I also now have a different perspective and tools to use when treating my patients.

PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSISTANT, ORTHOPAEDIC TRAUMA WARD

Really enjoyed the course on Saturday, learnt loads and met some very interesting people.

PHYSIOTHERAPIST NEURO

Just to say a big thank you for a very enjoyable and useful course in Bristol on Sat.

SENIOR II CARE OF ELDERLY, COMMUNITY, WARDS, OPD.

Thanks ever so much for the course on Saturday, it was really good, one of the most useful I’ve been on for a while, already putting some of the exercises into practice!

BAND 7 NEURO REHAB

Thanks again for a great day I really enjoyed it and have already put it into practise.

SENIOR PHYSIOTHERAPIST, PALLIATIVE CARE

Thank you very much for the course yesterday. It pulled everything together for me and I now feel confident to use it with my patients.

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTOR, MILTON KEYNES COURSE

Just wanted to say what an amazing day i had at the Tai Chi work shop on Saturday.

CARDIAC PHYSIOTHERAPIST, HOSTED COURSE

I’m using adapted tai chi lots with my cardiac rehab patients and in particular those with heart failure, they are really enjoying it. It’s been a very worthwhile venture so far and I’m just trying to fit more time in as there are many more people who are interested. I have been running an adapted tai chi group weekly since May 2010 and this has proven very successful.

COMMUNITY PHYSIOTHERAPIST

After attending your Adapted Tai Chi course I am finding it extremely valuable in my field of palliative care. The patients love to participate in group work and also practice some of it individually, even the men (who are notoriously difficult to engage in any activity) enjoy the sessions.
